Nine Inch Nails – Texas 2014
Measuring approx. 30×20 inches, this piece is printed on gallery cream stock and showcases semi-metallic inks and a lovely gradient fade. The ambiguity of the imagery is striking.
Jermaine comments:
‘There definitely is a feeling of grief and vulnerability radiating from this artwork, but also power and a dynamic amount of control. You can get roped into things, and go on for some time in circumstances that are manipulative, unhealthy, or just unhappy. There is the idea that, in a variety of ways, the option to ‘disconnect’ is always there for anyone to choose.’
