Pneuma

‘I’m very proud to announce the release of ‘Pneuma’, a 30×24 inch art print. I’ve wanted to give this image a proper art release for some time, and now is it.

Printed masterfully by the crew at Lady Lazarus Press, this piece is printed with rich inks (including a semi-metallic) on gallery cotton rag with hand-torn edges. Each print is signed and numbered out of an edition of only 60 pieces, and is hand-embossed with the Jermaine Rogers / Dero72 logo mark. 

This imagery was used on a piece commissioned by the band Nine Inch Nails. As stated earlier, I have wanted to present ‘Pneuma’ in a rich serigraph format for some time, and I’m glad to see it finally realized. I hope you will enjoy the work.’ – jr 

Regarding the imagery, Jermaine adds:
‘From the time we come crawling out of our maternal incubators, the raw and true inner self is smothered. We are molded, prodded, branded, and manipulated. The process can result in an outer shell of spirit that doesn’t resemble the raw pneuma at all. In some cases, it can take a long time to extricate yourself from yourself. A very long time.’
