those words, Veil Specimen #129 collapses on the floor of the study of
Felix Feneon, infamous art critic, revolutionary... and unknown to most,
a member of the covert DERO resistance. After the tragic events surrounding
the death of the artist Vincent Vangogh, the DERO initiate the 'self-destruct
mode' in #129's programming. This 'mode' triggers a flesh-eating virus
within the massive body of 129. The judgement of the DERO is a terrible
one.
Now,
time is of the essence, if #129's life would be saved! Feneon, along with
other members of the resistance, spirit #129 away...through subterranean
caves...to the underground stronghold beneath the city of Lhasa, Tibet.
There, many will unite to save one. For the battle against ancient DERO
craft takes many determined minds...and can only be fought in the 'Shadow
World'...a dangerous place between realities. Only in this neither-world
can the HEALING occur.
